School Visits

Kate’s talk on feminism and mental health was thought-provoking and perfectly pitched. It really encouraged students to consider what feminism means to them, popular misconceptions and why resistance still exists.

Feminism & Mental Health Author Event

An hour long interactive presentation, covering the history of feminism, what it is and why it’s important today, as well as other themes touched on in the Diary of a Confused Feminist books such as period poverty and period shaming, and mental health.

Journal Writing Workshop

A 45 minute workshop on journal writing, giving students a chance to try different styles of journal writing as a form of expression, and push them outside of their comfort zone.

Fantastic, engaging writing workshop that offered students choice in their approach to journal writing. The most cathartic Monday afternoon we’ve had in some time!
